Influences:

From Albert - Lead Guitar -- Being a musician for 50 years now, I have listened to so much music that it makes it difficult to narrow down influences, but I'll try to list a few. I grew up listening to Joe Pass, Barney Kessel, Wes Montgomery, Les Paul, and Chet Atkins. Later I was influenced by Buddy Holly, Richie Valens, Santo & Johnny, Dwayne Eddie, the Ventures, and Dick Dale. My teenage years were influenced by the Beatles (and others of the British Invasion), Eric Clapton, Mark Farner (Grand Funk), Terry Kath (Chicago), Jimi Hendrix, Stevie Ray Vaughn, George Benson, Al Dimiola, and BB King. There are many R&B and Motown influences as well. Having been a music major in college, I have a wide range of musical influences, an eclectic collection of styles and musicians, from Bach and Beethoven to War and Zappa. My strongest personal, stylistic, and inspirational influence has been CARLOS SANTANA. Many musical friends and professional musicians have helped shape my interests as well as many years of listening to and hunting for music with Jerry Pena as we were growing up from the late 60’s until "now-a-days". We have something we call “The List” and on it are all of our strongest musical preferences. “The List” is always growing! Too many to mention all of them! From Jerry - percussion -- -My influences have been Michael Carabello,Ray Barretto, Coke Escobedo, Papa Dee Allen,Tito Puente, Chepito Areas, Candido Camero, Santana, Mandrill, El Chicano, War, Tierra, Malo,& of course Albert Sandoval,Duke Anthony, Janie Garza, & Erasmo Flores Jr.
